After the death of her grandmother, 11-year-old orphan Simone is forced to abandon her farm and animals and move to Montreal to live with her Uncle Philippe whom she doesn’t know. A hermit and opera composer in search of inspiration, Philippe is shaken by the arrival of the eccentric Simone and her best friend, Brocccoli the skunk. Despite their diametrically opposed personalities, Philippe and Simone quickly discover that they may need each other more than they initially thought.
