Miriam is a librarian at a secluded Public Library, surrounded by a colorful mix of marginalized eccentrics and oddballs. As she navigates her sheltered life, she’s enveloped in a heavy cloud of grief. Adding to the strangeness, she keeps discovering vaguely threatening letters scattered throughout the library, seemingly addressed to her and the world, but mostly to her. While trying to unravel this mystery, Miriam meets Janko, a young cab driver from abroad. Their blossoming romance begins to clear her fog of sorrow but life is not that simple and a chain of unexpected events pulls her back to these letters to solve their mystery.
