In an attempt to reconnect with her estranged father, Lily Trevino sends a Facebook friend request to a man with the same name. While not her father, Bob becomes an unexpected and transformative presence in her life. As their bond deepens, Bob steps into the fatherly role Lily has longed for, while Lily brings new light and vitality into Bob’s world. This poignant film reminds us that positive, supportive male energy has a crucial place in society and challenges the tendency to broadly vilify it.
