DJ Ahmet tells the story of music-loving teenage sheepherder Ahmet, a father who wants to pull his son out of school, a sheep that goes out of control, and a younger brother who refuses to speak. Ahmet and his friends find an unlikely escape from the traditions of their conservative North Macedonian village: modern dance music. They retrofit a tractor into a mobile boom box, and the fun begins. Delightful and sharp, with beautiful landscape photography and a big heart.
